Conservative media commentators and politicians have come out swinging in light of the ABC’s decision to commission a podcast about women with autism hosted by former Australian of the year Grace Tame.

A new podcast launched by former Australian of the year Grace Tame and the ABC has been slammed by critics who have accused the national broadcaster of being “tone-deaf.”

ABC radio broadcaster Pickering has described as “problematic” the ABC’s decision to appoint Grace Tame as a podcast host.
