The hearing at Birmingham Crown Court was cut short by Judge Andrew Smith KC, who noted that prison staff had escorted Majed out of the room. Majed was not arraigned, and psychiatric reports are required before his next appearance in court. A further case management hearing for Majed, of Saltley, Birmingham, is scheduled for 27 July, with a provisional two-week trial set for 3 November. The charges relate to an alleged bomb hoax that forced the evacuation and cancellation of a Peter Kay comedy show at Birmingham's Utilita Arena on 1 May, where West Midlands Police later found nothing suspicious.
