Kemi Badenoch was visibly emotional as she discussed the harrowing bodycam footage that showed Henry Nowak’s cries for help being dismissed by police after he was stabbed to death. The 18-year-old student died after Vickrum Digwa carried out a brutal knife attack, which included two stab wounds to the back of Nowak’s legs and a fatal wound to his heart. Newly released video filmed as police arrived at the incident shows Digwa claiming he had been racially assaulted by Mr Nowak, as his victim lay bleeding on the floor. Nigel Farage said the public should respond to Mr Nowak’s murder with “pure cold rage,” and also said there needed to be an end to “anti-white prejudice” and a recognition that “white lives matter just as much as black lives”. The Conservative leader told Good Morning Britain on Tuesday (1 June): “ We should not make this about Nigel Farage. This is about Henry Novak. I listened to his father, and it was absolutely heartbreaking. This morning I watched that bodycam footage, and I just kept thinking, ‘What if that was my boy?’”
