Maharashtra cabinet clears proposal to avail USD 50 cr AIIB loan for rural roads scheme under Gram Sadak Yojana

Maharashtra's cabinet has approved a USD 50 crore loan from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank for rural road development on Tuesday. Additionally, the state will receive significant financial aid from the AIIB and New Development Bank for major road upgrades. Six Mumbai colleges are also now part of the Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate University, enhancing higher education access.
