A global body set up to accelerate the development of vaccines has pledged $62 million to speed up progress on experimental jabs aimed at tackling the virus behind the Ebola outbreak.

Director-General Jean Kaseya told a virtual press conference that Africa CDC's partners on Monday had pledged almost $500 million to support the fight against the outbreak.
