Justice Akintayo Aluko of the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Monday, June 1, 2026, adjourned proceedings on the case involving the United Kingdom-based Nigerian blogger and activist, Maureen Omorinola Badejo, to July 1, 2026. A source present in court told SaharaReporters that while the court adjourned hearing on the application to release Badejo’s passport to July 1, October 2026, was set for commencement of trial.
