Football night turns to bloodbath as five shot dead at Durban tavern

Residents of Nsimbini in Mayville, Durban, are reeling after a mass shooting at a local tavern left five people dead and several others injured. Witnesses say three armed men entered the venue while patrons were watching the CAF Champions League final and demanded cellphones and money before opening fire. Community leaders have described the attack as one of the worst incidents of violence to hit the area, where more than 20 people have reportedly been killed in shootings in the past month.
