A new experimental cancer treatment is generating significant excitement among oncologists after clinical trial results showed it can dramatically shrink tumors and, in some cases, eliminate them completely in patients with advanced disease who had exhausted other treatment options. The treatment, known as amivantamab, was tested in an international study involving patients from 11 countries.
