March and March calls for peace and calm after foreign-owned shops looted in Estcourt

March and March founder Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma has appealed for calm and restraint following the looting of six foreign-owned shops in Estcourt, KwaZulu-Natal. As tensions mount ahead of the movement’s June 30 deadline for undocumented foreign nationals to leave South Africa, Ngobese-Zuma and activist Nkosikhona Ndabandaba insisted the campaign is not intended to trigger violence or xenophobic attacks.
