6 workers killed after part of under-construction bridge collapses in UP’s Hamirpur

A section of an under-construction bridge over the Betwa river in Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh collapsed during a storm at 3am, killing six labourers and injuring three others who had sheltered beneath the structure. SDRF rescue teams are on site; three workers remain stranded on a bridge pillar pending evacuation.
