'Weirdest' job rejection: Candidate gets rejected for not looking correctly at the interviewer. 'Why are some people so strange?'

A Reddit post by a jobseeker has sparked debate online after he claimed he was rejected from a role following a video interview because of an “issue” with their device camera placement. The candidate said interviewers repeatedly complained that he was not appearing to look directly at the camera while speaking, even though he was using an older iPad where the camera position creates an off-angle effect during landscape use.
