West Bengal clears way for CBI probe in GTA teacher recruitment case

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Friday said the state government will withdraw its challenge in the Supreme Court and allow a CBI probe into alleged irregularities in the recruitment of around 400 teachers in GTA-run schools in Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Kurseong, as directed by the Calcutta High Court.
