NTSA says motorists accused of minor traffic offences will now receive notices and may pay fines instead of going to court, or choose to dispute the charges under a revised enforcement system.

Motorists charged with minor traffic offenses can settle fines without court appearances effective June 1, by admitting liability and paying within given period, NTSA says.

Drivers will now be allowed to dispute automated traffic penalties in court following criticism over fairness, privacy and due process.
