NEW DELHI: Karnataka governor Thaawar Chand Gehlot on Friday accepted the resignation of chief minister Siddaramaiah in Bengaluru, dissolving the council of ministers with immediate effect, a day after the Congress leader stepped down following directions from the party high command.
