CATL opened the world's largest energy storage testing facility in Xiamen: 10 hectares, $440M investment, five labs covering grid integration, high-voltage safety, thermal safety, environmental reliability, and EMC. By offering it as an open shared platform for full-system validation, CATL positions itself to set global testing standards and shape procurement benchmarks across the energy storage supply chain.
The facility will test grid integration, safety, reliability, combustion and EMC performance for storage systems.
