Matthew Perry’s assistant Kenneth Iwamasa has been sentenced to three years and five months in prison for his role in the beloved “Friends” star’s ketamine overdose death. Prosecutors said Iwamasa helped arrange and inject the fatal doses that led to Perry’s tragic death at age 54, closing a major chapter in the shocking Hollywood drug case. The sentencing hearing revealed emotional moments from Perry’s family, including stepfather Keith Morrison saying Matthew’s mother is “completely broken” and that “anger is an understatement.” The case also exposed the dark network of ketamine suppliers, including doctors and alleged dealer Jasveen Sangha, dubbed the “Ketamine Queen.”

Iwamasa was one of five people facing drug charges after the “Friends” actor’s death in 2023.

Matthew Perry's personal assistant is set to be the last person sentenced for his role in the drug death of the “Friends” star.
