DoorDash driver steals tips from woman working 14-hour double shift on Memorial Day

A DoorDash driver was caught on camera stealing tips from a woman working a 14-hour double shift on Memorial Day in Michigan. Surveillance footage shows the driver reaching over the counter and stealing $258 in tips whilst worker Kelly Plozai’s back was turned to pack up his order. Plozai was only made aware of the incident when a customer informed her. “I actually had no idea that someone's arm could be long enough to reach my money,” she told 7News Detroit. She has reported the incident to the police and said she hopes all his relatives and friends see the video. “I want everybody to know exactly how he is.” A DoorDash spokesperson confirmed they have removed the driver’s access to the service and will be compensating the restaurant for the loss. "Theft is unacceptable and there is no place for this behavior on our platform.”
