Bhojshala redevelopment plan: MP to build Maa Saraswati Lok, Raja Bhoj Institute in Dhar

MP CM Mohan Yadav has announced the creation of a grand “Maa Saraswati Lok” and a “Raja Bhoj Research Institute” in Dhar days after the Madhya Pradesh High Court declared the disputed Bhojshala complex a temple dedicated to Goddess Saraswati. The announcement came during the CM’s first visit to the site after the verdict. The state government says the project aims to revive the cultural, intellectual and historical legacy associated with Bhojshala and Raja Bhoj, while also linking Dhar’s development with major water conservation initiatives worth over ₹10,000 crore. The matter, however, remains under legal scrutiny as the Muslim side has challenged the High Court verdict in the Supreme Court.
