The record will feature around 40 artists covering MacGowan's songs, celebrating his musical legacy. U2 has been confirmed to contribute to the album, performing a rendition of The Pogues' 1988 single "Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah". Other prominent artists participating include Hozier and Jessie Buckley, who will cover "Fairytale of New York", and Bob Geldof, who will perform "St John of Gods". Previously released tracks from the album include Johnny Depp and Imelda May's version of "Haunted" and Bruce Springsteen's take on "A Rainy Night in Soho".
