Japan Airlines and its trading subsidiary JALUX will start selling cargo space on a Moon-bound lander, becoming the first airline group to offer commercial transport to the lunar surface, the JAL Group announced on May 26.

The carrier is selling payload space to preserve Earth’s heritage from climate change and war, but sceptics dismiss it as a PR stunt.
