Transport for Wales introduced a major timetable change on 17 May, significantly increasing services and capacity across its network, particularly in North Wales. The North Wales Coast Line has seen a 50 per cent increase in services, strengthening connections between communities and popular seaside towns like Prestatyn and Rhyl. Further improvements include a new 'pay as you go' payment system for 15 stations between Wrexham General and Bidston, alongside infrastructure upgrades such as new footbridges. These changes aim to provide more frequent trains, better connections, and make rail travel more flexible and sustainable for passengers across Wales.
