"Protected animals should not be sacrificed": SP leader ST Hasan advises against politicising religious matters on Eid-al-Adha

Samajwadi Party leader ST Hasan emphasized that religious sentiments should not be politicized. He stated that traditional sacrifice will continue but urged Muslims to refrain from sacrificing cows and other protected animals. He also noted that Muslims in Uttar Pradesh have stopped offering namaz on roads. The remarks coincide with Eid al-Adha celebrations across India.
