New AFASA KZN chair targets livestock theft and agricultural land crisis

Newly elected KwaZulu-Natal AFASA chairperson Phikilela Zondi has pledged to tackle some of the biggest challenges facing farmers in the province, including rampant livestock theft and the shortage of agricultural land. Speaking after his election in Cedara, Pietermaritzburg, Zondi called for stronger cooperation among farmers and closer collaboration with amakhosi to help unlock land opportunities for farming communities.
