Vedanta secures highest credit rating in over decade following ICRA Upgrade

ICRA upgraded Vedanta Ltd and its aluminium unit (VAML) to AA+ stable — the group's highest domestic credit rating since 2014 — while short-term rating was reaffirmed at A1+. The two AA+-rated entities cover 75% of group long-term debt, reflecting post-demerger deleveraging, lower borrowing costs and improved earnings visibility across aluminium, zinc and oil & gas into FY27.
