'He has attained samadhi': The family of Hyderabad-based climber Arun Kumar Tiwari, who died while descending Mount Everest near the Hillary Step, has decided against bringing his body back from the mountains “death zone”. Citing his deep connection with the Himalayas, religious beliefs, and the extreme risks involved in recovery operations above 8,000 metres, the family said they consider his death in the mountains a form of “samadhi”.
