JEDDAH: The National Center for Environmental Compliance conducted almost 1,500 field inspections during the Hajj season as part of a comprehensive environmental monitoring plan covering Makkah and Madinah. The initiative aims to enhance environmental compliance and ensure a safe and healthy environment for pilgrims. Abdullah Al-Ayouni, the center’s director general of inspection and compliance, said the campaign involved more than 60 male and female inspectors, and targeted high-impact facilities and activities.
