This strategic shift aims to capitalize on the market gap created by Spirit Airlines' recent cessation of all operations, allowing JetBlue to meet increased customer demand in South Florida. The cuts will result in JetBlue ceasing all operations from New Hampshire's Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, and also impact several routes from Hartford, Connecticut; Providence, Rhode Island; and Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey. Affected routes include flights from Manchester to Orlando, Fort Myers, and Fort Lauderdale; Hartford to Tampa; and multiple international and domestic routes from Newark, among others. JetBlue acknowledges the decision is "disappointing" for some travelers but states it is necessary to support growth in Fort Lauderdale, with impacted customers offered full refunds or alternative flight options.
