Kyiv is still dealing with the aftermath of a large-scale Russian overnight strike that killed four people and injured dozens, with emergency teams continuing search and cleanup operations across the city. More than 50 sites were hit, including homes, a school and a museum, while Russia says it used its Oreshnik hypersonic missile for only the third time in the war. Moscow describes the attacks as retaliation, while Ukraine denies targeting civilians and says its strikes focus on military infrastructure.

A large ballistic missile attack pounded Kyiv, authorities said, wounding at least five people after Moscow threatened retaliation for strikes in Russian-occupied eastern Ukraine.
