Rylan Clark has opened up about his marriage split from husband of six years Dan Neal and his mental breakdown. The 37-year-old opened up about their divorce during an appearance on ITV’s The Assembly, in which celebrities are interviewed by a collective of autistic, neurodivergent, and learning-disabled journalists. Clark said: “It made me so ill, like so ill.” The television presenter was pressed further on his feelings. He replied: “When my marriage ended, you know the term when someone says, ‘ to pull the rug from under you’? “That’s the only way I can describe it. It’s like someone went like that and I fell over, and I couldn’t get back up. It was like I broke both my arms and legs.”
