Busch, a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion considered one of the best drivers of all time, died Thursday at the age of 41.

Eleven days after fighting through a sinus cold to finish a race and three days before his next race, the colourful NASCAR driver died in hospital, aged 41.

Busch was in his 22nd full-time season in NASCAR's top division, where he won two Cup Series titles in 2015 and 2019.
