Uganda on Thursday suspended all public transport to the Democratic Republic of Congo, where a deadly Ebola outbreak was spreading.

The flights were stopped amid concerns that they could expose ICE officials and possibly help bring the disease closer to the U.S.

The World Health Organization on Friday said the outbreak is spreading rapidly and now poses a “very high” risk nationally.
