Kendal main road in Hanover closed

The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising that the main road from Green Island to Glasgow in Hanover is now closed. The agency says the corridor has been closed in the vicinity of the Apostolic Church in the community of Kendal, due to collapse of the road embankment.Community Relations Officer at the NWA, Janel Ricketts, says that heavy overnight rains on Thursday resulted in the road embankment failing. She says motor vehicles cannot navigate the space through Kendal.
