Has Google cut off most of the old Chromecasts or not?

9to5Google reported Friday morning that a Nest support page was updated to show most Chromecast devices as no longer receiving “critical security updates” — previously, the only Chromecast listed as not getting the updates was the Chromecast (1st gen). Since that article, however, Google reverted the page back, and it now shows once again that all Chromecasts except the 1st gen version are getting the updates. Google didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
