Alwaleed Philanthropies advances accessible housing, sustainable cities

BAKU: Alwaleed Philanthropies (Global), chaired by Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, participated in the World Urban Forum in Baku, focusing on addressing urban challenges and advancing sustainable urbanization across the Arab world. Princess Lamia bint Majed Al-Saud participated at the event as secretary-general of Alwaleed Philanthropies, UN-Habitat goodwill ambassador for the Arab region, and in her capacity as a member of the board of trustees of the Developmental Housing Foundation (Sakan). The official leading the Saudi delegation was the Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al-Hogail.
