Gemma Collins has revealed what she would do if she was the education secretary in her latest collaboration with the UK government. The reality TV star features in several videos on the Department of Education’s social media pages, where she sits down with Bridget Phillipson as they promote post-16 education on social media. In the latest video, Collins revealed that she would do a “morning shoutout” designed to motivate students to learn. “Everyone waking up for school, tune in to me, the GC. All I'm asking you to do is learn whilst you’re there. Now go to school hunnies, go to college, go to uni and have a fabulous day,” she declared.

The clip posted on Tuesday across the department's social channels was captured after Collins met Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson to discuss education reforms.

Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson said criticism of a government video featuring Gemma Collins has veered between being 'outright snobbery and just downright unpleasant'
