China just installed a giant floating wind turbine and it could change the future of clean energy

A world record-breaking floating offshore wind turbine with a capacity of 16 megawatts has been installed in China, creating an outstanding record in clean energy and offshore wind turbine technology. The wind turbine, nicknamed the "Three Gorges Pilot," is expected to produce enough electricity to supply power to some 4,200 homes each year.
