The United States on Wednesday indicted Cuba's former leader Raul Castro on murder charges, fueling speculation that President Donald Trump will try to topple the communist state.

The 94-year-old former leader of Cuba faces several charges, including four counts of murder for an attack on a humanitarian group more than 30 years ago.

The Trump administration is escalating its regime change campaign in Cuba.
