A magnitude 5.6 earthquake has struck Turkey’s southeast, an area devastated by the February 2023 twin quakes.

Emergency services say eastern Turkey has been struck by a magnitude 5.6 earthquake. It hit the Battalgazi district of Malatya province at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
