Trump-endorsed Ed Gallrein beats Massie in Kentucky’s 4th district as part of Trump’s tightening grip on the GOP

The primary defeat of Rep. Thomas Massie follows a bitter feud with the White House over his bipartisan efforts to force the release of records tied to Jeffrey Epstein

Massie, who has served in Congress since 2012, fell into Trump’s crosshairs in part by pushing for the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files and denouncing the war in Iran.

"He lost," said friend and congressional ally Rep. Ro Khanna, "because he had the guts to stand up to the Epstein class and against the war."

Massie, who has served in Congress since 2012, pushed for the release of the Epstein files, criticized the war in Iran and voted against the tax bill.

“But it was worth every single bit because now everyone knows the truth,” Greene wrote.

“We stirred up something. There is a yearning in this country for someone who will vote for principles over party,” Massie said.
