The United States has activated a $13 million emergency response to a new Ebola outbreak in DR Congo and Uganda, announcing travel restrictions and regional containment measures

US health officials are supporting DRC and Uganda after a deadly Ebola outbreak triggered regional and global response efforts.

The agency plans to deploy additional staff to the affected countries and will provide technical support.
