Supreme Court refuses to entertain plea over renaming Navi Mumbai International Airport

The Supreme Court has declined to intervene in the renaming of the Navi Mumbai International Airport. The court stated it cannot dictate policy decisions regarding airport names. The Maharashtra government had proposed to name the airport after Lokneta D B Patil.
