Mark Fuhrman, the detective who found a glove at O.J. Simpson's home, has passed away at 74. Fuhrman was a key figure in the high-profile Simpson murder trial. His testimony faced scrutiny due to past racial slurs. After the trial, Fuhrman retired from the LAPD and moved to Idaho.

A close friend of Fuhrman told TMZ that the former detective had been privately battling an aggressive form of throat cancer.

Fuhrman later shouldered some of the blame for Simpson’s acquittal in 1995. The detective was later convicted of lying on the witness stand.
