Police found the bodies of two boys, aged four and 12, and a 46-year-old woman inside a home in Campbelltown, Sydney.

Police have confirmed that the victims were the arrested man's wife and children.

The 47-year-old will remain behind bars after what police described as the "particularly violent" murder of the 46-year-old woman and his two sons aged 12 and 4.
