SpaceX has secured an option to buy AI coding startup Cursor for $60 billion. The deal would fill a gap Elon Musk's xAI has struggled to close on its own: coding tools.

SpaceX said it's obtained the rights to buy coding startup Cursor for $60 billion later this year or pay $10 billion for the work they're doing together.

Cursor is a Silicon Valley startup using AI to automate coding as Elon Musk’s firm seeks foothold in the AI market
