Pope Leo XIV joined in on the 6-7 trend at the Vatican, delighting a group of children in a viral video. Footage shared on Saturday (16 May) shows a group of school students demonstrating the popular hand gesture to the American pontiff. He then copied the hand movement as he exclaimed “six seven”, as the jubilant school children gave him a round of applause. The largely nonsensical term has gained popularity among young people through viral videos and memes, originating from rapper Skrilla’s song “Doot Doot (6 7)” - a reference to 6’7” NBA player LaMelo Ball.

The video showed Pope Leo XIV joining Catholic Priest Don Roberto Fiscer and children at St. Peter's Square doing the viral '6-7' trend.

Vídeo do Papa Leão XIV entrando na trend que viralizou entre crianças e adolescentes ao redor do mundo já ultrapassou 600 mil visualizações no TikTok.
