Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings has improved Bulgaria’s credit outlook from “stable” to “positive,” while confirming the country’s long-term and short-term foreign and local currency ratings at “BBB+/A-2,” according to information released by the Finance Ministry. The agency said the revised outlook reflects expectations for stronger economic growth and rising incomes, supported by greater political stability, planned reforms, and continued inflow of European Union funds.
