DUBAI: “Once Upon A Time In Gaza,” from Palestinian directors Tarzan and Arab Nasser, has won Best Film at the 10th Critics’ Awards For Arab Films, Deadline reported. Set in Gaza in 2007, the story follows a student and a restaurant owner who begin to sell drugs while delivering sandwiches. Things go wrong when they cross paths with a corrupt police officer. “Palestine 36,” which was nominated in six categories, also won Best Screenplay for director Annemarie Jacir and Best Cinematography for Helene Louvart.
