Starbucks is once again trimming its workforce, laying off about 300 US-based roles set to go as the coffee giant reshapes its operations in a bid to get back to what it calls “durable, profitable growth”.

Starbucks said the moves will help the coffee chain return to profitable growth.

Starbucks said Friday it’s laying off 300 corporate employees and closing some U.S. offices as part of its ongoing turnaround. No coffeehouse employees are affected.
