A U.S. Air Force Reserve helicopter crew rescued 11 people from a single life raft in the Atlantic Ocean off Florida with only about five minutes of fuel left, after a Bahamas-bound charter plane suffered a double engine failure and ditched into choppy seas.

“For all those people to survive is pretty miraculous,” an Air Force aircraft commander said.
