Members of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) took to the streets here on Friday to protest the hikes in prices of in petrol, diesel, and cooking gas (LPG) implemented by the Union Government. The protesters highlighted the recent surge in petrol price by over ₹3.10 and diesel price by ₹3.08. These revision had pushed up the retail price of petrol to ₹103.90 per litre and diesel to ₹96.45 per litre.
